If the finger tendons passing through the carpel tunnel in the wrist are inflamed or damaged they can put pressure on the median nerve causing pain in the wrist, hand and arm. CTS can be associated with repetitive motion of the wrist and fingers subsequently restricting the movement of the hand. It could be drawing attention to people who hold you back or restrict you.
As CTS is a result of repetitive actions associated with tendons, inflammation and nerves, some combination of the following needs to be considered:
Tendons: connecting with others
Inflammation: overacting
Nerves: communication
Possibilities to consider:
Habitual behaviour
Patterns that need to be changed
Being pressured to communicate something
Needing to talk about something that is putting pressure on you
Communication that is confined or constricted
The need to function effectively in a confined space
The need to work effectively with people who put pressure on you
Overreacting to a given situation
Needing freedom to move and express yourself
Someone or something is restricting your movements
