Like water, feelings can be expressed in many ways. They can be frozen like ice; hidden like the underground spring; raging like a waterfall; nurturing like the soft summer rain.
Therefore pain and discomfort associated with the fourth toe could be related to:
Need for privacy
Unstable or highly emotional
Inappropriate expression of emotions
Not listening to intuition
Issues around compassion
Blisters are caused by pressure from an outside source. So, if there is a blister on this toe, it could mean that there is pressure from an outside source which is stirring your emotions in some of the ways mentioned above.
If there is a bone problem with the fourth toe, attention could be drawn to restructuring your emotional responses; they may be inappropriate.
If the fourth toe is tucked under the third, you could be hiding your deepest emotions. You could be putting all your energy into your work, and not allowing yourself to feel your feelings.
If the fourth toe protrudes, you could be a person who is led by their emotions.
